The Noval Down-the-Hole Drill (DTH) is a new energy saving high efficient drill designed on the base of introducing technology of Japan. It is applied primarily for hard ground drilling, as well as for piling and retaining wall construction. Besides, it is adoptable for different types of piling such as H pile, precast pile, steel pipe pile and steel sheet pile.
Technical Detail:
The hammer (percussion mechanism) is located directly behind the drill bit. The drill pipes transmit the necessary feed force and rotation to hammer and bit plus compressed air or fluids for the hammer and flushing of cuttings. The piston strikes the impact surface of the bit directly to break hard rock into small flakes and dust which are blown clear by the air exhaust and lifted up the borehole by the blade of the auger screw. Also, grout milk is infused from hammer bit top when the hammer finished to drilling.
Features:
1. Deslagging in double ways (air exhaust & screw discharge)
There are some merits of equipping with a new technology of auger screw, compared with conventional technology.
- Only need a small amount of airflow by the air compressor and more cheap cost at the same working condition.Decrease a few proportion of deslagging by air exhaust, thus dust pollution keep at the low level to comply with environmental requirements.
2. Grout milk infusing function
- Protect borehole from collapsing with infusing of slurryprovide simultaneous work at process of drill bit lifting and soil consolidation at bottom of pile, promote construction efficiency and reduce the cost.
- Strong practicality
Common types of working platform: Pile frame such as crawler pile frame & hydraulic walking pile frame, crawler crane with outriggers and truck-mounted crane with outriggers. It is very convient and reliable way for crane, adopting suspended piling method.provide simultaneous process between drill bit lifting and consolidation of pile bottom, promote construction efficiency and reduce the cost.
